Shoot Plan helps you plan a shoot you film yourself. These rules cover what you enter (titles, key moments, names, places and notes), the plans we make for you, the links you share and any AI assistant you connect.

Policy version 2026-10-01-v2 · effective 6 October 2026.

Don't use Shoot Plan to plan

  • Filming people without the permission the law requires, filming people secretly in private places, or filming somewhere you have no right to be.
  • Sexual or pornographic material, sexual exploitation, or any sexual or intimate depiction of a child, a person presented as a child, or someone whose age is uncertain.
  • Intimate images of anyone without their consent, sexual deepfakes, or using a real person's likeness in a sexual way without their explicit consent.
  • Graphic, sadistic or gratuitous violence, or material made to glorify serious harm.
  • Anything illegal, including filming that would break the law where it happens, or a plan meant to help commit a crime.
  • Terrorist or violent-extremist material.
  • Hateful material that promotes violence or serious abuse against people because of a protected characteristic.
  • Fraud, impersonation, blackmail, stalking, harassment or other serious wrongdoing.

Your responsibilities

  • You're responsible for getting permission to film people and places, and for everyone's safety at your shoot. A plan suggests shots, an order and timings; it doesn't check that a place or an action is safe or lawful.
  • Only enter the personal details a plan needs, such as the first names of people on camera. Don't enter sensitive information about anyone, such as their health.
  • Make sure you have the rights to anything you film or use, such as music, artwork or brands.
  • Keep your share links and your AI assistant connection link private, and disconnect any you no longer use. Anyone with a link can see what it opens.
  • Don't try to get around plan limits, reach other people's plans, overload or probe our systems, or use our API or AI assistant connection to copy or resell plans.

If these rules are broken

If we believe a plan, a share link or an account breaks these rules, we may stop the plan, turn off share links or AI assistant connections, or suspend the account. Where we can, we'll tell you why. Refunds follow our Terms of Service.
