Clearway — Privacy Policy

Your game stays on your device

Clearway is a paid, single-player puzzle game. It has no account, advertising, subscription or in-app purchases. Puzzle progress, personal run scores and preferences are saved locally and are not uploaded. Core gameplay works offline.

Technical diagnostics

When a connection is available, Clearway sends a small amount of technical health information to the publisher's own diagnostic service. This can include app/build/platform information, launches and screen or feature-health events, startup and runtime performance measurements, coded failures and scrubbed JavaScript crash traces. These events are used for app reliability, debugging and support, not advertising, marketing or cross-app tracking.

Each app launch uses a new random technical session identifier. Clearway does not assign a persistent account, user or device identifier and does not send an advertising identifier. Common email addresses, sensitive query parameters, UUID-like identifiers and device file paths are scrubbed from crash traces before transmission. Diagnostic records do not contain your saved puzzle progress, run scores, messages, contacts, photos, microphone recordings or precise location.

Raw diagnostics are configured for retention of approximately 30 days. The collector does not save client IP addresses or request headers in diagnostic records, and HTTP access logging is disabled on the publisher's diagnostic endpoint. Technical data may be aggregated to identify repeated faults and performance problems. Normal network transport still necessarily uses addressing information to deliver requests.

Sound, motion and extended diagnostics

Sound and reduced-motion choices stay on your device. The current Apple build has no active native Firebase analytics or Crashlytics adapter. Its retained extended-diagnostics preference does not enable that absent backend. The narrow baseline diagnostic channel described above remains active; network or diagnostic failures never prevent play.

Purchases and support

Apple handles the App Store purchase. Clearway does not receive your card or bank details. Apple may provide the publisher with aggregate sales reports under its own services and terms.

Choosing a support or privacy link opens a public page in your browser. If you email the publisher, your email address and anything you voluntarily include are used to respond to your request. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or unrelated personal information. A support email is not anonymous and is not used to enrol you in marketing.

Local data and changes

Removing the app normally removes its local data, subject to any operating-system backup or restore you control. Clearway is not specifically directed at children. This policy will be updated before material changes to the app's data practices.
