When can I download Clearway?
Clearway is preparing for its first public App Store release. This site is a preview, not a public download or pre-order. The release date has not been announced.
What do I get?
The planned paid download includes all 56 puzzles across Signal Yard, Lumen Harbour and Glasshouse Row. There are no subscriptions, advertisements or in-app purchases.
What does Plan do?
Plan pauses the clock and firing. The paddles are shown at their docking positions so you can study the routes and the signals that can still turn each junction. Resume shots returns to live timing.
Why did a successful shot make the puzzle harder?
Some signals turn a junction after they land and are then spent. A successful shot can leave the wrong position for the remaining signals. Use Undo to revisit your decision and preserve a turn for later.
Why has my score started at zero?
New game and a full app-process relaunch start a separate run. Earlier runs stay in the local scoreboard. Briefly switching apps and returning keeps the current run if iOS has not terminated the process. Retry level resets only the current attempt.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Puzzle play and locally saved progress work without a connection. When online, a small amount of technical diagnostic information can be sent to help maintain reliability; see the privacy policy.
Which devices does it support?
The current release candidate supports iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later, in portrait. Both have their own layout. Sound can be muted and reduced motion is supported.
How do I report a problem?
Email support@theamateur.co.uk with Clearway in the subject, the app version/build, your device and a short description of what happened. A screenshot can help. Do not include payment details or unrelated personal information.
